Rocking out at last year's Huichica Festival. [Photo: Facebook]
SONOMA—The Huichica Music Festival is coming up at Gundlach-Bundschu Winery in Sonoma next weekend, and in addition to headliners like Blitzen Trapper, Fruit Bats, and Cass McCombs, it'll have quite the food lineup: Namu Gaji, Craftsman & Wolves, Salumeria, Rancho Gordo, and in their first appearance in the Bay Area, Portland's Bunk Sandwiches. Tickets are $50 for both days. [EaterWire]
THE MISSION—The Armory Club is hosting their first-ever Meet the Maker event next Wednesday, June 12, with beer from Almanac paired with charcuterie from neighboring 4505 Meats ($5-12). They'll have Almanac's new Farmers' Reserve bottles on hand, in addition to standards like the Extra Pale Ale and the Chinook IPA on draft ($4-12). The event runs from 6-8 pm. [EaterWire]
THE MISSION—Miss Wrecking Ball Coffee since their departure from Firehouse 8? Sure, you can order their beans, but it's a hot weekend, after all, and maybe a beer sounds better. Combine the two with Southpaw BBQ's house-brewed new maibock, Grounds For Divorce, made with Wrecking Ball's beans. It's available for the next few weeks at the bar. [SFoodie]
HOUSEKEEPING—It is a Summer Friday here at the Curbed Network, and all the editors are taking off a little early, including us (we will be at the Big Gay Ice Cream Truck, thanking the weather for cooperating). Enjoy your weekend!
