President Obama swung through town on another fundraising run last night, and locals Taste Catering served up the menu at his destination, the Portola Valley home of venture capitalist Vinod Khosla. The $32,000-a-head meal was sustainable but not particularly interesting (Greek salad and chicken saltimbocca, guys?), and Chron wine expert Jon Bonne says the Newton wines Obama was served were below-par for a Presidential outing. Not that he was probably doing all that much eating or drinking with all that gladhanding. [Inside Scoop]
