Colin Etezadi, who was the opening chef at Boot & Shoe Service and has worked at Pizzaiolo and Gioia, will be opening his own pizzeria, Slicer, in the former Local Cafe at 4395 Piedmont Ave., right next to Adesso. It'll be a mostly-takeout operation with 20 seats, and he'll have pies available whole or by the slice. Target for opening is September. [Inside Scoop]
