Bauer's long been a fan of Jeffrey Cerciello's food at Farmshop in L.A., and he finds the new Marin edition just as compelling. "The food is every bit as good as it is in Santa Monica," he writes, citing chicken "right up there with the Zuni Cafe signature," "truly inspired" ditalini in lemon-chickpea puree, and "spot-on and satisfying" salads. Throw in "artfully created" cocktails, and it seems that "like the [Marin] Country Mart complex itself, Farmshop is on its way to becoming part of the fabric of the community." Three stars. [Chron]
