Just in time for S.F.'s frigid July fog-wave, car-service app Uber will be deploying ice cream delivery throughout the city (and world) tomorrow. For one day only, you can request an on-demand ice cream truck to deliver a bundle of ice cream servings, which will be charged directly to your Uber account ($30 for five people/servings). If you're waiting streetside for instant ice cream, however, Uber cautions that demand will be very high, and availability very limited. "It may take multiple tries to find an available truck." [Uber]
