Rebirths

Oaklanders were saddened by the recent closure of kitschy burger joint Rico's Diner. But Rico's won't be closed for long: it's becoming Rico's Hi Life, a pizzeria from former Vitus owner Damon Gallagher. The new Rico's will serve food until 2 am, with a slice window open until 2:30, and will also have craft beer, wine, and pinball and arcade machines. It should open next week. [EBX]
