Status: Opened Wednesday

We're a bit late to the party on this one thanks to our July 4 vacation, but in case you haven't heard, Tacolicious opened its new location in North Beach over the holiday weekend. This is the fourth Tacolicious for owner Joe Hargrave and chef Telmo Faria; the Palo Alto and Mission locations and the Marina original, as well as the Ferry Building stand that started it all, remain open. The menu varies slightly from the other locations, but features all the standards, including tacos and the infamous tuna tostada. Here it is in full.

The space seats 75 inside and another 12 at sidewalk tables; it has a black-and-orange color scheme with a patterned tile floor and, like the other locations, also features a mural by Paul Madonna. It continues Tacolicious' streak of locations with full bars as well, stocking 100 tequilas, 15 mezcals, and a 20-cocktail strong list, alongside plenty of wine and beer. Hours are 11:30 a.m.-12 a.m. daily.
