Bar star Carlos Yturria is on the move from E&O Asian Kitchen: he's been hired by Franck LeClerc, the owner of Gitane, Cafe Claude, Claudine, and the forthcoming Gaspar Brasserie and Cafe Claude Marina. He'll be overhauling Gitane's cocktail program first, with a focus on aperitif-style cocktails; then, he'll institute a more classic program at Cafe Claude's mothership (the Marina location doesn't have full liquor).
