UNION SQUARE—Acclaimed chefs Marc Forgione (NYC) and Michelle Bernstein (Miami) are in town for a private event, but they'll also be doing a cooking demo at Macy's tonight at 6 pm. It's a team-up with Nespresso for the America's Cup, and the recipes will be coffee-centric. [EaterWire]

DOGPATCH—Beignet palace Just For You is looking to score a parklet of their very own, and they're throwing a fundraiser dinner on Sunday night to make it happen. The $45 admission includes unlimited gumbo, jambalaya, salad, garlic bread, and a glass of wine, champagne, or beer. [EaterWire]
