Though they made the token gesture of calling their new pastry a "kronut," Fillmore Bakeshop still got hit with a cease-and-desist from trademarked cronut king Dominique Ansel. They originally thought they'd call it an "SFonut" instead, but have decided to take ideas from the public before settling on the new name (winner gets a free dozen!) Last weekend, they sold 300 of their cinnamon SFonuts in 45 minutes; this weekend, they made 500 vanilla custard-filled versions. [SF Station]
