It's been a roller-coaster ride of a year for Ceri Smith, who got a rock through the window of Biondivino, notched a big award from San Francisco magazine, and then had to close her second project, Et Al. But it looks like some new happy news is on the way: April Bloomfield and Ken Friedman have chosen her as wine director of Tosca Cafe, which should be a perfect fit with her huge knowledge of Italian vino.
