Strange Brews

New, 3 comments

There's a new brew in town from Inner Sunset residents Wilson Barr and Tommy Hester, a duo who bonded in college over their shared love of baseball and beer. The result is T.W. Pitchers' Snake Bite, a blend of lager and cider inspired by Barr's travels in Great Britain, where the mixture is a popular pub drink. "It's not overly sweet like many ciders on the market, but you'll taste a bit more apple than you would in a regular beer," says Barr. So far, Snake Bite is available in over 140 stores and bars in the city, including Lightning Tavern, Kennedy's, Red's Java House and the Mucky Duck. [EaterWire]
