Today is the official release day for In the Charcuterie, the new cookbook from the Fatted Calf duo of Taylor Boetticher and Toponia Miller. The book reveals all the secrets to making the couple's acclaimed sausages, confits, salumi, and potted meats, as well as some warm recipes like stuffed roasts. Boetticher and Miller are doing a number of promotional events around the Bay Area this month, including a Saturday signing/tasting at Omnivore Books and dinners at Chez Panisse Cafe and Nopa.
