The team behind Solage Calistoga has taken over the management of French Blue, the hyped spot that opened in St. Helena last year. Famed architect Howard Backen still owns the joint, but Brandon Sharp of Solage and Solbar will be working with his longtime chef de cuisine Ryder Betts to revamp the menu, aiming to make it Napa's equivalent of Balthazar. No word on where chef Philip Wang (who was also a partner) has gone; Bauer was iffy on his food, which likely didn't help matters. [Inside Scoop]
