Manny Torres Gimenez is consolidating his empire. After simultaneously running two restaurants, Roxy's Cafe and The Palace, on the same stretch of Mission, he's decided to take it down to one by closing up operations at Roxy's. The menu at the Palace will absorb some of the pastas and other items from Roxy's (which once scored a two-star review from Bauer), and Gimenez says he also plans to offer more items inspired by his Venezuelan background.
