HBO's new dramedy Looking, about a trio of gay friends in SF, is set to premiere on Sunday, and had its premiere party at the Castro Theatre on Tuesday night with a Taste Catering spread honoring the many local restaurants where the characters dine (the entire show was shot on location in SF). Among the items served: mini Zuni Cafe burgers, Nopalito huevos rancheros, Cowgirl Creamery grilled cheeses, and Yank Sing dumplings. Only one misstep: someone labeled the crab Louie as inspired by Joe's Crab Shack, a chain most locals would rather forgo Dungeness altogether than set foot in. [EaterWire]
