After four and a half years serving up globalized American fare near the ballpark, Ironside is shaking up its concept in an attempt to get more dinner customers. Beginning today, the restaurant is reimagining itself as a barbecue spot, offering brisket, ribs, and pulled pork in combos, complete with sides like mac and cheese, collard greens, and cornbread. The rest of the menu is similarly themed, though two favorites from the former incarnation remain: the fried avocado wedges and the Cubano sandwich. [Inside Scoop]
