Bonjwing Lee, otherwise known as the Ulterior Epicure, counted down his 15 favorite dishes of 2013 for Eater National, and the Bay Area crushed it. Leading the pack was Saison, which notched three dishes on the list (including the #1, koshi hikari risotto with truffles), while Boulette's Larder hit #7 for a poached-egg dish, an aji escabeche from The Restaurant at Meadowood took #8, and monkfish liver from Manresa clocked in at #12. Fun fact: the list boasts twice as many Bay Area dishes as NYC dishes. [~ EN ~]
