Historic San Francisco restaurant Alioto's has been around since 1925, and they've revealed a peek at one of their old menus, circa 1937. Eye-popping prices include 15-cent chowder, a large portion of lobster for 70 cents, and a half-dozen oysters on the half shell for 35 cents total. Thirsty Depression-era patrons could wash away their worries with a 10-cent local beer or Zinfandel. My, how times have changed. [EaterWire]
