After losing executive director Rob Black to the clutches of PG&E last month, the Golden Gate Restaurant Association has announced a replacement: Gwyneth Bowden, who previously spent a decade leading government and philanthropic relations for IBM. Beginning next week, Bowden will be responsible for the SF Chefs festival, public-policy advocacy for member restaurants (a large number of SF's top restaurants are members), and education and scholarships.
