Welcome to On the Racked, where Racked SF editor Robyn Hagan Cain shares the top fashion, beauty and fitness news of the week

Isabel Marant

MISSION— Timbuk2 is celebrating 25 years in San Francisco, and we’re learning lots of fun facts about the brand. Also, they just started making custom baby bags.

SOMEWHERE— Isabel Marant wants to open a boutique in San Francisco. It will be her third store in the U.S. Billy Reid is also planning an SF expansion in 2015.

CHINATOWN— Emily Payne, the only San Franciscan on Project Runway Season 13, talks about life after the show and where she might open a kids boutique.

SOMA— Kim and Kanye were at AT&T Park for the World Series, and they didn’t wear orange. Thanks a lot, guys. See if we let you borrow our ballpark the next time you want to make an over-the-top declaration of love.

UNION SQUARE— Gentlemen, you only have one month to get your holiday party outfits in order. Good thing this SF-based semi-bespoke brand can set up in time.

ALCATRAZ— Consider this the posh person’s packing list for an Alcatraz slumber party. And let it sink in that people actually want to spend the night in prison.

OAKLAND— Two interesting fashion tidbits out of the East Bay this week: Anthropologie is teaming up with Creative Growth Art Center on a collection that launches next week, and pro-cyclist Beth Newell is working on a denim line for athletes with muscular quads.

SAN FRANCISCO— Both Polaroid Fotobar and Kit and Ace are working on pop-up shops in SF; one sooner, one later.

RUSSIAN HILL— Even if you missed Racked Fit Club, you can still score a discount on classes at the TRX Training Center.
