Gaspar Brasserie is expanding their reach with two new services: a Saturday lunch, running from 11 am-4 pm and intended for Union Square shoppers, and a three-course Sunday supper, offered in addition to their regular menu on Sunday nights, that's $40 per person (with a $20 wine pairing), and includes dishes like cod brandade, whole roasted chicken, and a chocolate bavarian. Over at Marla Bakery, brunch is kicking off this weekend, on Sundays from 10:30 am-2:30 pm. Expect challah French toast, pork belly sandwiches, spiced doughnuts, and more. While the full menu only runs in that time slot, the cafe, with pastries and coffee, is open at 8 am and goes until 5:30 pm. They're also continuing themed Sunday-night suppers. [EaterWire]
20th Century Cafe is introducing "happier hours" beginning this week, from 6-9 pm Wednesday-Friday. Expect special prices on bottles of wine and bar snacks like reuben tacos, borscht, and deviled eggs. [Hoodline]
Bar Agricole is extending their early-evening happy hour into the fall, offering $6 cocktails, $3 Stiegl lager, and $2 sausages. It runs from 5-6 pm Monday-Saturday, and all day on Sunday. Also of note: everyone in the restaurant is dressing up in Wes Anderson-themed outfits for Halloween this year (last year's theme was vintage Nintendo). [EaterWire]
