Head to the South Bay for Your Lobster Roll Fix

Whatever, crab season, you're just getting started.

Aubrie Pick

This week Tasting Table Lobster Rumble presented by Lexus stampeded through town, leaving buttery lobster hangovers in its wake. The fancy affair brought together a dream team of restaurants to serve their versions of the esteemed lobster roll. Restaurants included Old Port Lobster Shack, Farallon, Anchor & Hope, Willi's Seafood and Raw Bar, Jack's Oyster Bar and Fish House, Waterbar and Local Mission Market. Everybody brought their A-game to the lobster roll party, but there could only be one King of the Lobster Roll... Old Port Lobster Shack for the win!

If you're a transplant from the East Coast, these are the lobster rolls that will fill the lobster-shaped hole in your heart. Owner Russel Deutsch flies in fresh lobsters every week, so they are never frozen. Tender, fresh lobster meat is hard to refuse, especially when it is cradled lovingly in a butter bun.
