La Lengua Will Soon Be Lapping Up Craft Beer at Old Devil Moon

Craft beer and burgers coming to La Terraza space.

SFist

A big ol' craft beer bar with a patio and a menu full of Southern food is in the works in the La Terraza space. After over 20 years of service, the Mission/Bernal bar (in an area often referred to as "La Lengua") is calling it quits and handing over their liquor license to neighbor Chris Cohen. As a co-founder of the SF Homebrewers Guild, cicerone and beer consultant, Cohen has plans for a beer list with some special interest and "direct-from-brewery" beers, as well as some great whiskeys.

Cohen is opening the new spot, Old Devil Moon, with fellow beer nerds
Andrew Kelley (also a cicerone) and Will Marshall. The beer loving restaurateurs want to make sure the bar is a real "neighborhood spot" first and foremost, with a really great burger.

They plan to open mid-2015. We'll keep you updated as details become available.
