GHIRARDELLI SQUARE— Do415 and La Cocina will host a weekend-long holiday market called El Mercado from Friday December 5th - Sunday December 7th. The opening night festivities on Friday are adorably called "O, Mole Night" and include mole dishes from bay area notables like Traci Des Jardins, Charles Phan and Michael Gaines of Kin Khao as well as a range of La Cocina businesses. Tickets cost $75 and include all the mole you care to eat, dessert, two drink tokens and entertainment curated by the folks at Noise Pop. Saturday's events include an open food and crafts market and on Sunday there's a tamale-making class where you're encouraged to bring your loved ones for a group activity. Even more details here.
