Umami Mart to Sell Booze; Mustachioed Wine for Movember

Also, beef smothered in turkey gravy and a new place to eat pizza on Divis.

Franciscan Estate

NOPA— This week's installment of Wes Rowe's Wes Burger pop-up at Mojo Bicycle Cafe is dedicated to thankful gluttony. Simultaneously shake off and remember the feast of the week before with Wes Burger's Thanksgiving Not-Turkey Burger, an all-brisket patty covered in turkey gravy, cranberry mustard and stuffing; start it off with some turkey gravy poutine if you're a true glutton (for punishment). Wes Burger occurs every Weds, 6pm- 11pm. [EaterWire]

OAKLAND—  Umami Mart's Oakland location will soon expand to sell a selection of Japanese beers and sakes, as well as salty drinking snacks. They've applied for the license to sell beer and wine; hopefully that translates to a bottle shop and space for tastings and pairings by Spring 2015. [Inside Scoop]

NOPAHoodline reports that Acme Burgerhaus is officially out, and Seniore's Pizza is officially in at 599 Divisadero. This will be the second location for the California pizza chain, offering pizza, wings, and salads. Seniore's has also applied to transfer Acme's liquor license, so hopefully there will be booze to go with those buffalo wings. [Hoodline]

NAPA— For those in search of family-friendly entertainment, wine is always a good choice. Franciscan Estate winery is hosting a special tasting for Movember this Saturday-Sunday (11/28-11/29). Take home a commemorative mustachioed wine glass, after you've gotten a good taste of their reserve Magnificat blend. Winery will be open 10pm-5pm. [EaterWire]
