MISSION- Sixth Course Artisan Confections has been selling their high quality sweets at places like Rainbow Grocery and Avedano's for several years. Now fans of veteran pastry chefs Bridget Labus and Gianina Serrano can find all of their handmade truffles, mousse cakes and other sweets in one place at their newly opened shop in the Mission. Insanely delicious truffle flavor combos like honey and fennel pollen, chai tea caramel and sage and brown butter caramel are only a few of the luxurious treats found at Sixth Course. 1544 5th St. [EaterWire]

INNER RICHMONDJade Chocolates plans to open their own artisan chocolate shop in early December, at the corner of Geary and 6th. Previously found at the Clement Street Farmer's Market, their award-wining flavor combinations blend teas and spices from Asia and the South Pacific. Don't miss the Terracotta bar, made with milk chocolate, tamari almonds and pink sea salt, or the Orient Espresso, made with milk and dark chocolate, oak roasted espresso and cardamom. Owner Mindy Fong hopes to open the shop in December 2014, if she is able to reach her Kickstarter goal of $20,000. 4207 Geary Blvd. [RichmondSFBlog]
