Neighborhood Spot Hoffman's Grill & Rotisserie Now Open On Guerrero

New, 2 comments

The former Company restaurant got a few cosmetic changes.

Hoffman's

After a brief closure at the end of October, two-year-old 48-seater Company at Guerrero and 22nd has reopened this week as Hoffman's Grill & Rotisserie. As we mentioned last month, the shuffle is more of a rebranding effort than anything: Hoffman's will keep chef/namesake Karen Hoffman, who was a part owner in the restaurant's previous incarnation.

As you might imagine from the name, grilled meats, rotisserie-style chicken and other rotating specials are the focus of Hoffman's menu, which will also be available as take-out for anyone who prefers to eat in solitude. Other opening menu highlights include grilled game hen, confit chicken wings and lamb meatballs with white bean dip & spiced yogurt. On the drinks side, the wine list will be heavy on the small California producers plus four draft wines, beer and a couple of low-ABV fortified wine cocktails.

Finally, as a historical footnote for the young eaters in the crowd, Inside Scoop notes the Karen Hoffman's new venture has nothing to do with the former Hoffman's Grill on Market Street because that place closed literally a lifetime ago in 1984.
