MISSION— Ease into the annual debauchery of New Years Eve with a special pre-party happy hour at La Movida. Snag a beer and an appetizer for $10, glass of wine and an appetizer for $15 or a flute of bubbly for $9 from 5 pm-9 pm. [EaterWire]

MARINA Le Marais Bistro and Bakery is pulling out all the stops this New Year. First their nine-course NYE dinner, then a late night breakfast truck for all the partiers. Stop by Le Marais after the ball has dropped for Valrhona hot chocolate, apple cider, egg and cheese croissandwiches and all kinds of other baked treats, served out of a vintage Citroën H Van. The possibly life-saving, hangover-preventing snacks will be served from 12:30 am- 3:00 am outside the bakery. [EaterWire]

SAN FRANCISCO— If the throngs of amateurs chugging booze in the streets doesn't appeal, settle in at home and have someone else pick up the booze this New Year's Eve. Delivery app Postmates has teamed up with PlumpJack to deliver a $40 bottle of Veuve Clicquot with no delivery fee, from 12/28 until the clock strikes midnight on 12/31. [EaterWire]
