Fish & Farm

Just in time for a fresh start to the New Year, mediocre British pub-style chain restaurant Elephant & Castle will shut its doors on January 1. Beloved by people with no other available dining options, the restaurant has long been a mainstay for bad pub food, surly waitstaff and drunk businesspeople making bad decisions with coworkers.

The soon-to-be vacant space on Clay will become the new location of Fish & Farm, the appropriately ampersanded restaurant currently located in the bottom of the Mark Twain Hotel.  Restaurateur Michael Najjar, also owner of Green Bar, plans to remodel and open the new location in a matter of months. There's no word yet on what will become of Fish & Farm's current location, whose lease does not expire until May 2015. The chef lineup for the new outpost is still TBD, but the menu will remain true to F&F's current seafood-heavy offerings.
