Pagoda, the Japantown bar and karaoke venue, has just had its liquor license suspended for 60 days, thanks to a three-month-long sting by the ABC that indicated the venue was being used for prostitution. The main complaint was for illegal drink solicitation, with surcharges on drinks for keeping male patrons company, but one employee was arrested for "soliciting an act of prostitution" and another was referred to the D.A.'s office for potential prosecution for pimping. The bar's Yelp reviews are pretty amusing. [Inside Scoop]
