It's good news/bad news time. First, the bad: Chez Spencer has officially given up on its former home at 14th and Folsom, which sadly burned to the ground last year. (Laurent Katgely is still on track to make a comeback at 18th and Mission very soon, though.) Now, the good: the space is going to Peko Peko's Sylvan Mishima Brackett, who announced his brick-and-mortar project last week. It'll be called Rintaro (Japanese for "woods boy," a play on his first name), and ground has already been broken for the rebuilding. [Tablehopper]
