The Shutter

After just over two years in business on Market and Sixth, Pearl's Deluxe Burgers is closing its doors. An early symbol of the much touted Mid-Market revitalization project, Pearl's is a victim of low foot traffic and sky-high costs, according to co-owner Young Yi, who says that the location will shutter at the end of February. Fans of Pearls' onion rings, Bula burgers and shakes can still head over to the Post Street location, which will remain in business. [SFist]
