The parade of local coffee shop openings continued this weekend with the opening of Sightglass Coffee's new Mission outpost, which joins Reveille and Blue Bottle in the recent-expansions department. Lodged on a strip of 20th Street within range of Trick Dog, Salumeria, Central Kitchen and Atlas Café, the sequel has a distinctly cozier feel than the roaster's lofty SOMA headquarters.

Cross over the new spot's signature mosaic entry, and you'll find a space with clean lines and a simple, streamlined set-up. In addition to the standard pastries, retail coffee beans and espresso drinks, all coffees will be roasted in-house on a vintage 1969 five-kilo Probat, including some exclusive blends only available at the new location. Hours for the new spot are Monday-Saturday, 7am-7pm, and Sunday, 8am-7pm.
