East Bay folks, get ready for what looks to be a massive speakeasy project in the former Wells Fargo in downtown Alameda. Called Capone's Speakeasy, the 7,000 square foot spot will feature chandeliers, vintage vaults, 20's era costumes and a 72-foot marble and mahogany bar, along with small plates from chef Nicholas Koliopoulos. Mark Strachan is behind the project, which has a late April opening target. Stay tuned. [Inside Scoop]
