As promised, the former Noe's Bar/Basso's space has completed its quick transformation under the new ownership of Dave O'Donnell and The Creamery and Iron Cactus' Ivor Bradley, opening its doors officially over the weekend. Now called Horner's Corner, the bar and restaurant offers a mixture of sports bar and restaurant with a British pub feel.

Open from early afternoon into the wee hours, Horner's Corner offers a daily dinner with a focus on locally-sourced and organic ingredients. Appetizers like pulled-pork sliders, chili, rock cod cakes and Cobb salad start off the menu, which has a hearty entree list (think rigatoni and meatballs, steak frites, brick chicken, and short ribs) and 10 pizzas from the kitchen's built-in pizza oven. (See the full dinner menu.) Warm bread pudding, berry crisp and a "Martini" sundae round out the dessert offering, and a special kids' menu highlights the restaurant's family-friendly vibe.

In a place like this, you'd expect plenty of beer, and Horner's Corner has eight brews on tap, including German picks Reissdorf Kolsch and Weihenstephaner. Beer by the bottle runs the gamut from college classics Corona and Bud to Belgian beers like Blanche de Namur white ale and Cuvee de Jacobins Rouge. But beer isn't the only draw here: Bar manager Seamus Breslin (a Rickhouse alum) is behind a cocktail program that uses fresh squeezed juices and housemade syrups in a dozen new drinks, from classics like Scofflaw and Rattlesnake cocktails to a Horner's Gibson and Casino Royale. (See the full drink list here.)

Weekend brunch will start early, and include a lineup of eggs Benedict, steak and eggs, vegetable frittatas, buttermilk pancakes and brioche french toast, plus day-drinking favorites like mimosas, Bloody Marys and a gin fizz. Starting now, Horner's Corner is open from 3pm-2am on weekdays, and from 9am-2am on weekends. Dinner will be served from 5-10pm on school nights and until 11pm on Fridays and Saturdays. Happy hour runs weekdays from 3-5pm, and weekend brunch goes from 9am-3pm.
