It's been a year of ups and downs for New Central Cafe, from its star turn in Woody Allen's Oscar-nominated Blue Jasmine to its eventual eviction and closure in mid-June. Now, it's gotten new life from a former La Oaxaqueña chef, with a ton of dishes like rotisserie chicken, gluten-free fish tacos, a chorizo burger, and chilaquiles and breakfast burritos and brunch. It's affordable, too: organic coffee is $1, the whole menu is under $8, and a fresh juice bar clocks in under $5. They're open daily from 7 am-6 pm. [Tablehopper]
