Week in Reviews

New, 1 comment

Washington Post food critic Tom Sietsema rolled through SF last week, where "everywhere I went around town and beyond, I learned something." His favorite bites: b. patisserie's kouign amann ("an exquisite pleasure"), Tosca Cafe's gemelli ("[April] Bloomfield shows...how much joy can be coaxed from just a few good ingredients"), and pretty much everything at The Cavalier ("anyone who eats here is likely to feel pampered by the kitchen.") Bonus news: French Blue is changing its name to Archetype to distance itself from early bad reviews (it gets a good one here). [WaPo]
