Though it re-launched in the Lower Haight a couple of months back, Three Twins Ice Cream's official grand opening is today—and a certain mayor, name of Ed Lee, turns out to have skipped the festivities last-minute, despite being offered a giant scoop of ice cream. The shop's consolation prize: if your name is Ed Lee (official identification required) and you show up at today's event (it's at 3 pm), you get three free pints of ice cream.
