The NYC Bagel Pop-Up Is Coming Back This Saturday

Brace yourselves, Missionites: Eastside Bagels, the pop-up that drew national headlines for its two-hour lines for Russ & Daughters bagels transplanted from NYC, is coming back this weekend. Founders Sonya Haines and Wes Rowe are once again setting up shop at Dear Mom on Saturday morning, where a new line-reducing innovation in the form of a strict one-bagel-per-person limit will once again be imposed.

They'll only have 180 bagels, which, along with that limit, should simplify the line proceedings considerably, as will the lack of breakfast sandwiches this go-round. There will only be two kinds of bagels (plain and everything) and the topping options are restricted to five kinds of schmear (plain, scallion, caper/lox, cracked pepper, and olive), so if you're one of the lucky 180, you should be able to get yours pretty quickly and move on to bloody marys and mimosas at the Dear Mom bar. But get there early.
