Welcome to our photo series Eater Scenes, where Eater SF photographer Patricia Chang visits some of the city's great restaurants to capture them at a certain, and very specific, point in the day. Today, Pizzeria Delfina.
Originally launched as a casual sister spot to next-door Mission favorite Delfina, Craig and Annie Stoll's Pizzeria Delfina has become the jewel of their burgeoning restaurant empire, with locations in Pacific Heights and Burlingame. But the Mission original remains the neighborhood's favorite place for a pie, drawing big crowds to its handful of tables on weekend nights—especially temperate ones like last weekend. In honor of Pizza Week, here's a glance at Pizzeria Delfina during the Friday-night rush.
