Ryan Scott's West Portal location of Market & Rye has run afoul of the planning department, prompting a closure that's lasted over a week while Scott gets the proper permits in order. Undeterred, Scott is moving forward with plans to take over the former Kitchen Mojo next door to his other Market & Rye outlet (at 300 De Haro) and transform it into his take on an American pub, complete with dinner service, a patio, and soft-serve ice cream.
