Scott Beattie to Meadowood; An OpenTable Challenger

ST. HELENA—Cocktail consultant extraordinaire Scott Beattie is picking up roots, leaving Goose & Gander for Meadowood. While Sam Levy will continue to handle bar duties at the Restaurant at Meadowood, Beattie will be charged with developing the cocktails elsewhere around the resort, as well as for weddings and events. SACRAMENTO—A new startup called RezKu, based out of Davis, is challenging OpenTable for dominance in Sacramento, and may be headed to the Bay Area next.
