Coming Attractions

Though its ubiquitous television ads might suggest otherwise, Oklahoma-based drive-in chain Sonic actually has only a single location in the Bay Area (it's in Hayward). As of today, that might begin to change, though, with plans to build 300 more Sonics in California by 2020 and to add more than 1,000 to the nation's highways and byways by the same date. No specific Bay Area plans have been announced yet, but cherry limeades, tots, and Coneys may be coming our way soon. [SBT]
