Kilovolt Comes to Oakland; a New 'Haute' Hot Dog

WEST OAKLAND—Oakland's coffee scene is positively electrifying, and no less so with the addition of Kilovolt, a new coffee shop from Ethan Ashley. Tired of leaving the neighborhood in search of quality coffee, Ashley retrofitted an old warehouse to offer Sightglass coffee, basic fare like bagels and sandwiches, and a quirky, mad scientist vibe.
