Manresa's chef de cuisine, Jessica Largey, has had a stellar couple of years: in addition to being named an Eater Young Gun, she's earned Chronicle and StarChefs Rising Star Chef awards, Zagat 30 Under 30 honors, and most recently, a James Beard Award nomination for Rising Star Chef of the Year. San Pellegrino is doing a video series profiling each of the JBFA Rising Star Chef nominees; Largey's is above, showing her touring and tasting at Love Apple Farms and working with mentor David Kinch (himself a JBFA Outstanding Chef nominee) in the kitchen. At only 28, she definitely has a bright future ahead, but she credits Manresa with helping her find her voice. "This is the place that changed my whole life."
