Heads up, fried chicken and Thomas Keller fans: Addendum, the takeout window portion of Ad Hoc, is officially open for the season. While the much-loved chicken is going nowhere, Ad Hoc chef Katie Hagan-Whelchel is stepping up the barbecue offerings this year; she bought a new smoker and studied with Southern pitmasters.
