Project 22, the Castro's upcoming arcade bar, hit a temporary snag when an outdated SFPD code surfaced that limits the number of "mechanical amusement devices" allowed per square foot. A vestige of the pinball-happy 1980s, the legislation was successfully repealed by Supervisors London Breed and Scott Wiener last week, giving the city, and the upcoming pinball spot, free rein to amass an old-school arcade emporium.
