Awards Season

Tony Gemignani is no stranger to world pizza-making titles (which he discussed extensively in our recent interview), but now two of his protégés are taking the spotlight. Capo's chef Matt Molina and Tony's Pizza Napoletana chef Laura Meyer both took first place in their respective divisions (American Pan and Non-Traditional) at the World Pizza Games, with Molina winning the big prize of World Champion Pizza Maker of the Year. Congrats to all. [EaterWire]
