The pending closure and renovation of The French Laundry continues to be the restaurant world's biggest non-secret secret, but after the Napa Valley Register reported that the blessed event would go down in July or August, Thomas Keller's reps took pains to communicate that no date has been set yet. "Until our plans are completed and approved, we cannot finalize a construction schedule," CFO David Ciabattari told Inside Scoop.
